Location is everything in Lake Como, and there are few better places to base yourself than our neighbourhood of Borgo Coloniola – just a short walk from the shores of the lake, the historic centre and the transport links that make exploring the region easy.
Less than a minute from the front door, you’ll find yourself at the water’s edge, strolling the promenade with a coffee in hand, watching the boats glide in. Just a few minutes in the other direction lies Como’s historic centre, where cobbled streets open onto lively piazzas lined with restaurants, cafés and iconic landmarks like the Duomo di Como Cathedral and Volta square.
Getting around couldn’t be easier. Como Lago Station is just a few minutes away, providing direct rail connections to Milan and convenient access from the airport. The main ferry terminal is also just along the waterfront, offering trips to colourful villages, botanical gardens and hidden corners of the lake, while the nearby Como–Brunate funicular sits ready to whisk you into the mountains for panoramic views and magnificent sunsets.
